STIGA Gyro 700e CORDLESS LAWN TRACTOR – the new 2022 model, especially for mowing very large areas! Cordless lawn tractors are here to stay! Their easy handling, modern electronic solutions, low noise and vibration are making them an increasingly popular choice among lawn tractors. The Stiga Gyro 700e cordless lawn tractor is the first powerful zero-turn cordless lawn tractor, especially suited for mowing very large areas with slopes and uneven terrain (hills, hillsides, etc.). Unlike previous zero-turn tractors, the new model is equipped with a modern eMotion steering system, which is controlled by a joystick integrated into the armrest. The tractor's gauges can be viewed and various functions controlled from a touchscreen integrated into the left armrest. The new model no longer has steering levers. The new steering technology allows it to turn 360° around its axis in all directions. There are three speed settings: Comfort (up to 4 km/h), Standard (up to 8 km/h) and Performance (up to 12 km/h). The Gyro 700e has a 108 cm wide twin-blade cutting deck, which also has two support wheels that help it adapt better to uneven lawn surfaces. The cutting height can be adjusted to 8 positions between 2.5 – 10.5 cm. The recommended mowing area is up to 8000 m². While mowing, the blade speed can be adjusted in three different modes: Standard, Boost and Eco-Mode, depending on the desired result and the condition of the lawn being maintained. Standard – mowing once a week; Boost – in tough, overgrown grass conditions, increases blade speed, which results in higher energy consumption; Eco – for frequent mowing; reduces blade speed, saving energy and increasing the size of the area that can be mown. The open design of the Gyro tractors gives the user not only comfortable entry, exit and generous legroom, but also excellent visibility of the working area. Powerful LED headlights ensure good visibility when working at dusk or in poor weather conditions (fog, rain, etc.). STIGA ePOWER batteries The tractor is powered by a single 48V–64Ah ePower battery, tested in extreme conditions to ensure its highest performance and reliability. The battery's efficiency is supported by cell-managing electronics and software and by the battery's special design, which leaves enough room around each cell for cooling. A fast charger is included for charging the battery. Full charging time is up to 3.5 hours. A single charge provides up to 110 minutes of operation (depending on the terrain and grass condition). Smooth movement is provided by a unique transmission with two electric motors (total power 2.10 kW) that works much like a hydrostatic gearbox but is even easier to control. The tractor's welded frame makes the machine strong and stable and absorbs various loads. The Gyro 700e's centre of gravity has been set very low (55.3 cm) to minimise the risk of the tractor tipping over and to provide greater stability when working on slopes (up to 32°) and uneven terrain. STIGA Vehicle Management System performs continuous diagnostics, records data and communicates with the STIGA.GO app via a Bluetooth connection. Thanks to this, the user can optimise mowing in real time on their mobile phone, monitoring for example how much mowing area is left or when to return home before the battery runs out. It is worth noting that a cordless tractor has significantly fewer parts requiring maintenance and replacement than a petrol-engined tractor. The tractor does not need spark plug, air filter or oil changes. The tractor has no drive or blade belts and no pulleys.
