CMT Industrial Saw Blades are designed for professional woodworkers and finish carpenters who run their blades all day long, demanding ultimate precision and extended life from their blades. This blade features a shear angle grind on the front face of the teeth which reduces the required cutting force and results in smoother cuts. Ideal for crosscutting wood and plywood on miter saws, circular saws, or table saws. This saw blade features “Orange Shield,” CMT’s non-stick PTFE coating that prevents overheating, reduces resin build-up, protects against corrosion and rust, and improves performance and cutting life. Cutting teeth are made from a specially formulated chromium micrograin carbide, which stays sharper longer by reducing cutting edge abrasion. CMT blades go through a process called “XTREME Balancing,” an extremely accurate and dynamic balancing system. There are also laser-cut slots filled with polyurethane, which reduces vibrations and noise by 25% compared to standard saw blades. Located close to the toothed crown, these slots act as shock absorbers isolating the teeth from vibration, which leads to improved cut quality and longer blade life.
