Adamus 20 Years Old Aguardente Vínica Velhíssima is a sublime Portuguese wine spirit that embodies the strong personality of the iconic Bairrada wines of the 1990s. Made at the Levira Distillery using the Baga grape variety, characteristic of the region and responsible for the unique flavour, this mature spirit is slowly distilled in discontinuous copper stills. It takes 20 years to mature in old Portuguese and Allier oak barrels of various types of grain and toast, and is bottled at 41.6%. Adamus 20 Years Old Aguardente Vínica Velhíssima is a smooth and lively spirit, with a great aromatic complexity and intense notes of toffee and candied fruit balanced by cigar boxes, balsamic and roasting that linger on the palate. The unique bottle reflects the spirit’s elegance, with well-defined lines and a sustainable cork stopper reminiscent of a diamond.
