Amount: ₦‎1,800. Description: Diatab Glibenclamide 5mg Tablets are used to improve glycaemic control in adults with type 2 diabetes. They work by increasing the release of insulin from the pancreas. It is recommended to take them together with diet and exercise. Not suitable for type 1 diabetes. Key features: • Active Ingredient: Glibenclamide, which stimulates insulin secretion from pancreatic beta cells, lowering blood glucose levels. • Initial stabilization dosage: Half tablet (2.5 mg) during or after breakfast. • Maintenance therapy: Continue with half a tablet (2.5 mg) if good control is achieved.
